Overview
This is a User vs. User 30 GM league played on the PS3.

- 5 minute periods
- Superstar difficulty
- 1 vs. 1 only
- Salary cap is on
Custom Sliders
Everyone is required to use the provided custom sliders HERE. These are used to make the game a feel much more realistic. We feel that the sliders we have provided help make the players feel like they can turn and skate like real NHL players. That passes can actually get picked off or intercepted. That the goalies tend not to let any little floater from the blue line in. The list can really go on. Basically. The sliders make the game better, in our opinion, so make your game better and play with us

Franchise Players
We will be having 2-3 players per team that you MAY NOT trade unless
a) You get another FP in return
B) They are of a certain age/Contract is up.
We are doing this to protect people from coming in, changing all the teams then leaving and then left with no one wanting said team. FP's will change every year as we evaluate them
No Cheese Goal Scoring!
So long as you are playing fair (i.e. not scoring 3 or more goals the exact same way, etc.) there is no real cheese goals.
Back-up Goaltenders
Every team is required to play their back-up goaltender for a total of 15 games per season.
Active GM's / Unresponsive GM's
Please try to make the effort to log in to these forums at least once every day or two to respond to trade offers and schedule games. Unless you are on vacation there is no reason you can't come online for all of 5 or 10 minutes each day. We want active GM's, if you are not you will be replaced.
If you've tried to get in contact with a GM at least 36 hours before the advance but they have failed to respond, contact an admin and we'll temporary boot him so you can play his CPU.
Schedule:
Advances
We will advance twice weekly in this league. Every week we will advance on Wednesday night at midnight, and Saturday night at midnight. Thus, each week the rotations are as follows:
- Rotation #1: Sunday morning to Wednesday at midnight EST (4 days).
- Rotation #2: Thursday morning to Saturday at midnight EST (3 days).
This gives us some days on the weekend for both rotations, which makes scheduling a lot easier.
GM's That Cannot Find A Time That Works:
Please post in the "Scheduling" board if you are unable to find a day/time that works for both GM's to play. Both GM's can agree on one of two resolutions:
- One GM plays the CPU
- Sim the game
Vacation/Time Away
We all go away for extended periods of time, and this is ok. However, please post that you will be absent and how long you expect to be away in the "Missed Games & Vacations" board. How your games are played are determined by the opponent (either simmed or played against the CPU).
Disconnects
Through a full season, we will have a few disconnects. If a disconnect happens and the game was tied you can restart from wherever you please, or if someone was winning you must establish the same goal differential and play the full game out from the time of the disconnect. So if Player A was winning 2-0 at the start of the 3rd, make the game 2-0 for Player A and begin playing again at the start of the 3rd.
Transactions
Trades will most likely be put through by the commisioner and co commish until we get a decent amount of people in the league.
Off-Season Rules
THE RFA RULE:
RFA offer sheets are NOT allowed in this league. Given that the league only lasts six season, the draft pick compensation is essentially worthless when someone signs one of your best players. Therefore, RFA's cannot be offer-sheeted. If it happens, we will be taking away good picks/players. Whatever we decide depending on the circumstances.
